Prorated Water Bill Settlement System
What is the Prorated Settlement System?
- Implemented on July 11, 2008, this system calculates and settles the water bill for the period and amount used from the last meter reading prior to a specific date (such as moving date), which is necessary when you move or sell a property.
Eligibility
- When all users associated with the water service change due to moving, etc.
※ Excludes cases where some persons associated with the water service remain the same.
How to Apply
- Apply at the local water service office by phone, in-person, or online (must be done no fewer than three days prior to moving).
- Upon applying for prorated settlement at the local water service office, payment instructions will be provided after the final charge is calculated from the meter reading.

Important Notice
- Please be sure to cancel automatic transfers and/or electronic billing (email, or KakaoTalk notifications) when moving.
- When applying for prorated settlements consecutively within the same billing period, your bill may not be correctly calculated.
- Prorated settlement charges are not automatically transferred. Please pay via virtual account transfer, in-person or at CD-ATM with billing statement, or online.
